Emma has been part of the Arnold & Siedsma team since 2015. She graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2015. During her Masters of Information Law and European Private Law, she specialised in intellectual property law.
Her dissertation for her Masters of Information Law focused on patent law. Emma researched the scope of the Bolar exception in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Following her Bachelors of Jurisprudence at Leiden University, Emma completed two masters degrees in Information Law and European Private Law at the University of Amsterdam. Her first dissertation was on the scope of the Bolar exception in patent law. For her second dissertation, she researched the jurisdiction regarding disputes between companies related to the online sale of software.
