If a design registration is not renewed in a timely manner, the rights will lapse and you as the design holder will lose the protection of the design. Precisely because of the required novelty, it is no longer possible to register the model again thereafter. It is therefore important for you to be reminded of the renewal in good time so that action can be taken, as long as you still have an interest in the design. Renewal of a design registration

Using our own design management system, we inform our clients in good time of the approaching renewal date. Every design which is filed by us or for which we assume responsibility is automatically entered into this design management system.
