Julie Paddeu has been working within Arnold & Siedsma as a trainee patent attorney at the Antwerp office since September 2024. Her expertise lies in aerospace engineering, wind energy, and mechanical engineering.

Julie specialized in rotor design aerodynamics after her bachelor in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology during her dual master in Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft and Wind Energy at DTU. Julie’s master’s thesis was in collaboration with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and focused on applying the Finite Element Method to solve the equations of the Ainslie-Wake model and also laid the foundation for implementing a pressure Poisson solver to improve the physics of the Ainslie-Wake model. Julie’s thesis demonstrates her ability to solve complex problems and her analytical skills. At Arnold & Siedsma, she can combine her interest in technology and her critical thinking skills with her love of language.
