Jerre is a registered Dutch and European patent attorney and a well-known Belgian patent attorney. He has been with Arnold & Siedsma at the Nijmegen office since 2018. His expertise includes advising clients in biology and chemistry, particularly in the fields of biotechnology and botany.
Jerre has a molecular biology background and has conducted research on antibiotics and immunotherapy. With this knowledge, he knows how to distil the right technical aspects of inventions to best define their technical characteristics. This enables him to provide targeted advice and obtain the broadest possible patent protection for inventions.
His strategic thinking skills help him help startups make the right choices around protecting their ideas. In addition, he can provide multinationals with strategic advice at board level. With his enthusiasm, drive and analytical ability, Jerre can clarify the interface between complex technical aspects and the legal framework of the patent world.
