Thomas-Jan joined the firm shortly after obtaining his master’s degree in Applied Physics in 2023. During his academic career, Thomas-Jan specialized in the master track of Nano, Quantum and Photonics. In view of this academic background, Thomas-Jan particularly interests himself in serving clients operating in the fields of photonics, nanotechnology and optical sensors, among others.
As a trainee patent attorney, Thomas-Jan can perfectly combine his passion for technology and affinity for language. Thomas-Jan’s professional activities are mainly concerned with patent prosecution. In particular, Thomas-Jan is involved with the drafting of new patent applications and the navigation of the examination process to meet all legal requirements for patentability.
