Anna-Fleur has been working within Arnold & Siedsma as a trainee patent attorney at the Hasselt location since January 2025. Her expertise lies in (inorganic) chemistry and metallurgy.

Anna-Fleur completed the Dutch Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and the English Master of Chemistry at KU Leuven, where she mainly studied inorganic chemistry, specifically metallurgy, during the Master. As part of the master’s thesis, she conducted research on a new process for the extraction of battery metals from manganese nodules at research group Solvomet – SIM² institute KU Leuven. This experience not only provided knowledge of chemical processes concerning metal mining, but also an insight into the technical and innovative aspects of the industry.

Fleur will continue to use her passion for chemistry as a trainee patent attorney to protect innovative ideas, always acting as a trusted person for her clients.
